What is adhd?
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a nuerobehavioral disorder that is characterized by inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness. 1
There are three main types of ADHD:
- ADHD is considered a nuerobehavioral disorder because people with ADHD have a chemical imbalance in their brains- their brains do not have the right amounts of certain chemicals.
There are three main types of ADHD:
- Inattention*
- Hyperactive/Impulsive
- Combination (inattention and hyperactive/impulsive)*

Treatment of ADHD: 3 Treatment for ADHD can include medicine, therapy, and sometimes a combination of medicine and theray. Once an effective treatment is found, it should be carried out consistantly on a long-term basis. Medication and therapy has been found to be the most effective form of treatment. Medication:
